Two classy moves by MLB teams this past week. Number 1 the Giants who in the middle of their celebration in beating the Braves stopped and honored Bobby Cox with a tip of the cap and a round of applause. Number 2 the Rangers who instead of dousing themselves with champagne, went with the Ginger Ale so teammate Josh Hamilton (who has overcome both drug and alcohol addiction) could be a part of it after beating the Rays.
There are a lot of happy fast food loving fans drooling right now with the announcement that McDonalds is bringing back the McRib Sandwich next month. Yo Ronald, how 'bout bringing back the Cheddar Melt Sandwich and the fried apple pie too. Love that rye bread bun!
Finally, my niece Morgan Pavlot is turning the big 5 years old in about 10 days. So the other day I talk to her and ask what she wants as a present from Uncle Kenny. This is where being married or in a serious relationship with a female comes in handy. The girlfriend or wife could pick it out and get for me. I get the card and we both look good.
